In this guide we look at how to set up an email account within Direct Admin. Firstly, we will go through creating the email account, and then how to configure the email in your email client:
Login in to your Direct Admin account (login details can be found in your “New Account Information Email”).
Once logged in to the dashboard you will see ‘Email Accounts’ at the bottom right hand side of the screen
From here select ‘Add New’
You will be taken to a new page “Create Mail Account”
Here, you will need to provide the following information:
Username
Password - (you can auto-generate a password by clicking the ‘auto-generate’ icon on the left hand side of the password box
Email Quota – Set the disk space for this email account in MB
Email Quote – Set the maximum number of daily emails
If you don’t want to install a 3rd party mail software client such as Thunderbird or Outlook, then you can login to the server directly to send and receive emails on the server using webmail.
To do this your webmail login will be:

If you would like to set up your email with a 3rd party email client such as Thunderbird, Outlook or Apple Mail for example please use the following settings:
Username: username@domain.com
Password: Your Email Password
Incoming mail server: server.blazingfastwebhosting.com
Incoming Mail Port: IMAP - 143 / POP3 - 110
Outgoing Mail Server: server.blazingfastwebhosting.com
Outgoing Mail Port SMTP - 587
Username: username@domain.com
Password: Your Email Password
Incoming mail server: server.blazingfastwebhosting.com
Incoming Mail Port: IMAP - 993 / POP3 -995
Outgoing Mail Server: server.blazingfastwebhosting.com
Outgoing Mail Port SMTP - 465
