How to Create an Add-on Domain in DirectAdmin

Adding an add-on domain in DirectAdmin allows you to host multiple websites under a single hosting account.

Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin

You can access DirectAdmin using any of the following:

• https://your-domain.com:2222
• https://your-server-ip:2222
• https://server.blazingfastwebhosting.com:2222

Alternatively, you can log in directly via your client area.

Step 2: Open Domain Setup

Once logged in, navigate to:

Account Manager → Domain Setup

Step 3: Add a New Domain

Click the “ADD NEW” button to begin creating your add-on domain.

Step 4: Enter Domain Details

Fill in the required fields:

• Domain:
  Enter your domain name (do not include http://, https://, or www)
• Bandwidth:
  Set a limit or select “Same as Main Account”
• Disk Usage:
  Set a limit or select “Same as Main Account”
• Options:
  Enable features as required:
  • SSL (recommended)
  • CGI access
  • PHP access

Step 5: Create the Domain

Click “Create” to add the domain to your account.

Your add-on domain will now be set up and ready to use.

Notes

• Ensure your domain is pointed to the correct nameservers before adding it
• DNS changes can take time to propagate (usually up to 24 hours)
• You can manage files for the new domain via File Manager or SFTP
